Grandpa Hugo pays tribute to the legendary Tube Screamer TS808, one of the most recorded overdrive circuits in guitar history. Loved by players from Stevie Ray Vaughan to John Mayer, the TS808 became famous for its smooth clipping, focused midrange and ability to push tube amplifiers into rich, musical overdrive.

Rather than copying the original component for component, Hugo refines the formula for modern players. The familiar mid-forward voice remains, but with improved clarity, balanced frequency response and exceptional note definition that works across single coils, P90s and humbuckers.
