TONECAT Skull and Roses Fuzz - Fortune Edition
Pedal details
Behind the flowers lurks the fury. Skull and Roses Fuzz is Tonecat’s darkly romantic reinvention of the legendary Muff-style fuzz. At first touch, it blooms — thick, saturated walls of fuzz that rise like a storm at sea, drenched in harmonic overtones. Sustain lingers endlessly, velvet-smooth yet dangerous, like roses hiding their thorns. Beneath it all lies a razor-cut midrange snarl that slices through the densest mix, whether you’re whispering love songs or leading a sonic mutiny.
But this is more than just a clone. Skull and Roses Fuzz is tuned for musicians who demand dynamics and color. Roll back your volume and it responds with warm, gritty bloom. Push it harder and it unleashes a tidal wave of fuzz perfect for shoegaze haze, doom-laden riffs, or soaring leads dripping in sustain.
Pair it with overdrive for searing solos, or let it stand alone — Skull and Roses thrives either way, equally at home in quiet midnight sessions or on the loudest stage you can throw it onto.
Controls are simple, intuitive, and dangerously effective:
🌹 Bloom (Gain): From subtle grit to devastating fuzz saturation.
💀 Thorn (Tone): Sweep your mids and highs, from smooth romance to biting menace.
⚓ Charm (Volume): From whispered secrets to bone-rattling roars.
Hand-built and hand-tuned, Skull and Roses Fuzz is finished with artwork as striking as its tone — a skeletal cat Casanova cloaked in roses, equal parts romance and ruin.
Play loud. Break hearts. Leave ghosts behind.
