The Artwork
Inspired by the fleeting nature of beauty, La Floraison depicts a cat surrounded by an abundance of blooming roses. Created by artist B.Lu Studio, the work explores the moment where beauty reaches its fullest expression — vibrant, captivating, and inevitably temporary.
Rich colour and layered forms create a sense of movement and growth, mirroring the way distortion expands and transforms a signal. Like a flower in bloom, the artwork celebrates intensity, emotion, and the beauty found in impermanence.
Série Atelier is Tonecat’s collection of artist collaborations, where each pedal is reimagined as a hand-painted artifact.
The Medium
Original hand-painted acrylic artwork on a sculpted enclosure.
Each piece is individually painted by hand, allowing colour, texture, and brushwork to become part of the object itself. Rather than acting as a surface graphic, the artwork is integrated into the pedal, transforming it into a collectible artifact that exists between musical instrument and visual art.
Created in collaboration with local artists and illustrators, Série Atelier celebrates intentional design through sound, story, and craftsmanship.

The result is greater clarity, improved note definition, and richer harmonic character while retaining the energy and attitude that made the original circuit a classic.
